That really is a wonderful fire bird. It is leaving its heap of ashes to which it became and rises up in flames. After every death there is a rebirth or a new beginning. You have greatly depicted the hope aspect as Phoenix is looking upwards with his eyes to the sky. He is raising his wings to float freely and leaves the dark remains or the past behind him. The red colour palette you have used is phantastic to represent fire: red, orange, yellow. The blending of these colours in each other gives a living and vivid aspect to the bird. By using only brushstrokes for the wings and body the bird seems in movement. A great capture to bring something to life.
I do not know where you have placed the painting, as the background seem to be either a brick wall or pavement and that is distracting some bit. Perhaps you should have cropped the painting a bit to avoid that background.
If you have a photo editor like photoshop you can easily crop it with this and it looks still even finer afterwards.
Overall, it is a fabulous painting with lots of hope in it. Keep up that great work!
