I thought this might be fun to try out. c:

Starting from 2011, when I first developed Flight Step, this shows my fursonas/main characters that have represented me in one way or another since I've been around on the interwebs in any significant fashion.

Along with names, dates, and designs, I also wrote in some words that came to mind when developing their personalities and designs, all of which play together in not only what made the character significant to me, but in some ways reflects what I was personally trying to work on in myself as a person.

Flight Step - I made her when I was about 14 or so. The quote I always associated with her was "I am wise for knowing that I am not." She's a yearling wolf, and was the one who started the theme of silver, as well as deer in my fursonas, as she had silver claws like her mother. The band she wore around her foreleg was also something put on her by native people (likelyInuit tribes that her mother had befriended, therefore the connection), which is tanned leather with carved elk bone.
She always represented light-heartedness, curiosity, and innocence to me, which suited her youth.

Allegra (Original/Divided Skies Version) - Allegra is the random character I made for roleplay, who very quickly became an extension of my personality (only placed in the position of a near-tortured lone Alpha wolf). She was the Alpha of the Ebony Sun Pack for years in the roleplay, had and also lost two mates, had a total of 8 pups, and while she was originally similar to her sister, Flight Step, she was quickly hardened by means of figurative fire through her experiences as an Alpha. She embodied the fiercely loyal protector, but also a mother and compassionate leader.
She also continued the theme of silver and deer through those bright silver eyes of hers, and the fact that she always carried around the antler of the buck who gored her in the shoulder when she was showing off protecting an injured member of her pack. Therefore, the scar on her shoulder. She never let it stop her, though, therefore her resilient stubbornness that carried her and others through thick and thin as an Alpha.
In some ways, Allegra was (and still is) the most stubborn, difficult-to-work-with and hard-nosed character in my arsenal, but I also found an admiration for the character that developed through my time roleplaying her. She very quickly became my identity in a sincere way.
Stubborn thing.

Linger - This one is definitely the oddball of the bunch, being both a feline and a male.
He originally came around not as a roleplay character, but the embodiment of the emotion of pure affection and love. His design alone came from the innocent feeling of compassion and affection I felt for a very dear friend while saying goodbye to them one day, and for whatever reason, the emotion became a picture of what became Linger's eyes looking at me, and then I turned it into a design. He's angelic, spiritual, and a guardian lion, embodying the feeling of protection and compassion one feels for those you hold very dearly to you.
After my roleplaying days (and the fact that having the original Allegra out of her roleplaying maps felt very odd stubborn thing, Linger became my identity for quite some time, at least a year or so. I always pictured him as sort of the character I want to be, that being humble, knowing of my spirituality and humanity, as well as stable.
Design-wise, he added to the silver theme in my characters.

Allegra Valentine Lionheart (Current) - After a while, and especially when some events in 2013-2014 began to turn my life in different directions, I started to feel less comfortable on Linger, and I also began missing Allegra in general. However, with Alle being stubborn odd out of her RP maps, and the fact that I would miss Linger, too, I decided that it was time to create a character that could entirely be "me."
Therefore, I combined Allegra and Linger in both design and personality, while also adding in inspiration from deer into her design in more significant ways than I had in the past.
She is officially called a Fallsikka Wolf, which is a hybrid of wolves, doves, and deer, and she also took significant amounts of her design from DS Allegra and Linger, creating a ridiculously complex character. (I regret this every time I draw her. xD Oh, well).
It's suiting, though, since the time when I made her was a complex period for me, and also one of the hardest times of my life to date. Some of my earliest drawings of her was a bit tumultuous, in fact, but through it I've grown, and so I see a lot of reflection, resilience, and growth in Allegra. I also contribute the guardian-like personality and humility (magnanimity) of Linger into her, but she retains the brighter personality and light-heartedness of Flight Step in many ways. She's a bit of a catch-all character that can reflect all of these traits, making her very versatile and full of contrasts, as well as complimentary characteristics, paralleling the mess complexity of her design.
Graciousness is also a huge one, considering there are several wonderful souls who kept me above water through the mess that was 2014, a handful of whom are represented in the colors of her necklace.
Finally, Agape (the Greek word for brotherly love) is something that I've been trying to put forth in my personality the most in myself this year. Alongside patience and long-suffering, I try to find the beauty in everyone possible, which is something that Allegra maintains as a guardian, and something I want to have as a person, leader, and friend. But, it is also a weakness, as it requires long-suffering, and overlooking wrongdoing--way easier said than done.
She has the most "humanity" of all of my characters, I think, as she aligns the closest to my personality.

Maybe I think too hard into these little guys. xD But, oh well~

Either way, enjoy some beloved characters on here (some of whom I need to draw more!<3).
