You know that feeling where you so desperately just want to hold someone in your arms, to just shut out their worries and protect them, but it feels a little hard to get through to them?That feel is mostly what inspired me to draw this one.
Lil' sketch, felt like playing with the lineart, but I doubt I'll actually be finishing this one in full color anytime soon. Still throwing it out here for you guys to see, though, mainly because I like the expression on the orange/red canine (I think he's meant to be a german shepherd).

I do know this feeling... Anytime someone I know is upset, I want to be there with them to help them through it... It is a special kind of sadness when you know you can't do that, and that all you can give are comforting words.
