Description
This is the last part of VOA (Very Old Artwork) I digged up.
I can't say for sure when I made this, probably around 1983-85 (?) - anyway, I used the famous Codex Manesse as an inspiration for it. Pity about the colours... I had no gold paint, so it looks a bit "cheap". Oh, well.
The Codex Manesse is one of the most beautiful illuminated manuscipts of the Middle Ages, displaying 137 miniatures with portraits of then well-known poets and Minnesingers.

(The title I took from a poem in Middle High German:
Dû bist mîn, ich bin dîn:
des solt dû gewis sîn;
dû bist beslozzen in mînem herzen,
verlorn ist daz slüzzelîn:
dû muost och immer darinne sîn.)
