There is some things you can improve in this picture:
1. Level of details of textures differs to much at the side of the cross, at the top of the cross, at beads and table
2. Metal is unrecognizable, it looks like plastic at the top

Well m8, I use 3ds max 2008 and Vray then Photoshop CS2. I have used cinema4d for only a few days in the past ,but it was really similar to max. I would gladly help you as much as I can. First of all I didnt use any lights- only a HDRI image with light information in the environment slot. The key is to make really good materials- so I used high resolution texture maps. But there are too many things to go through now. If you want you can send me a collage with screenshots of all your rendering, light and environment settings and a screenshot of your scene to gravier25@hotmail.com and I will look them through and send you back suggestions on them. I will help if asked because I have got sooo so much help from others. It may take me some time to read the mail though.

I can transfer the zip in msn- I am mainly ,,appear offline,, because I cant get any work done if everyone talks to me. But try to send instant messages and if I am there I will answer. The latest vray was really hard to find... And from what Ive seen I would suggest learning 3ds max and vray- they have that extra something that I havent seen in other programs. ...no problemos

No problem bro! Its cool that you speak spanish- I have learnt spanish for a few weeks and understand some words or expressions. And I deffinitely want to go to spain in some years. Try [link] search vray there. Or just try to catch me on msn- Ill give it to you. If you get a few days of practice with max and vray- give me a call and I will get you started with some basic settings that you can modify as you like.
