isn't she tho? lookit at her cute little teeth and her cutie grin. i'm so in love with this model and most cause sushi picked out this gorgeous hair and top for her the original shorts were amazing too but these help her fit into the plaid trend kh3 started so i asked permission to update

well her model was made before the kh3 bases even came out and so she didn't have plaid either until just yesterday. cause i'd been ripping parts and when i found those shorts i knew she had to have them and when i saw the plaid i was was like yes, perfect fit for kh3. plus it was kinda perfect cause they were very similar fit to her original shorts and fit high enough on the waist and fit the butt that it just worked plus the shorts and flappy thing was already rigged so that helped a lot to just merge the bones and have fully functional rigged shorts

ahh i see, i think a lot of people's ocs are like that. every time someone makes a new account i can usually spot who is who, i try to be more original with my faces but i guess it's good in this case moving sakura's face over from one base to another that she still looks like herself. that was a real struggle when i first started mmd making faces and finding hair that actually looked like my oc. i'd find what i thought was a good part but then i'd stick it on her head and was like?? who even are you? so i'm really glad i've managed past that point.

right?? this turned out so much better than i thought it was gonna go, group poses are not my forte having to go back and forth once i got one in place then an arm was poking through on another then i had to go back to the first and-- basically a lot of back and forth to try to get a natural, non-arm-breaking pose and sakura hovering several inches off the ground cause she's a shorty hanging on two tall dudes

this wasn't even the model i was supposed to be working on, she was made and finished for me on the kh2 base as a gift from sushi (which is weird cause she picked the perfect hair i envisioned her her kh3 look even though i'm pretty sure i never told her sakura gets a kh3 haircut... ), then i ported over to the new base, but then i found the shorts and they had the plaid already and i thought they'd look soo good with her top and they did so she can join the plaid gang. just have to make some adjustments now for the rest of her outfit to be complete then go back to finishing her kh1 model dangit

God it's a pain I know xD Finding perfect parts is a chore when you have something perfect in mind!

Also posing is a big 'ol pain. Makes you wonder how tf people pose themselves if you can't get a model to do it???

that's why most of my outfits just sorta happen, i'll find a part i like and base the rest of the outfit on that. but really special outfits take a lot of time cause i have an idea in my head what it's supposed to look like but can't find anything just right or have to get a bunch of parts to put something together. once i found some pants i liked but they didn't have a butt cayse it was convered on the original model by a coat so i had to find some shorts (basicailly they were pants tucked into knee high boots so kidna the opposite problem) and smooshed them together to make one part of pants and they're acutally my favorite pair of pants i've ever made

well, i don't know much about toons and spas and stuff, but having those on the model helped and the only effects i used were gshader and svssao for the extra shadows and selfoverlay. i was so bummed when we first got some of the higher quality models cause they were harder to use in pmx and mmd but with the right tools they can look amazing. just wish i knew more about blender to get those real hight quality renders
