Description
No official name for this closed species yet since these are still in progess. But uweh I'll upload what I have so far anyway. I've been working on this idea since forever and it's just sitting in my files, taking up space while it stares at me (๑-﹏-๑)

And yes, I'm using Pastel as my mascot for these as well. I'm too lazy to make a new refined OC, so I'll just reuse him. And look, he's wearing shorts, much wow. MascotLyfe5ever ヽ(゜□゜ )ノ

Essentially this species is supposed to be simpler and cheaper adopts, since people might not like how complicated some of my Aria are turning into. I can't help it, I'm horrible with choices so I put everything in i just cant c h o o s e //slapped

The quality is going to be what you see right now. It's faster and simpler to make, but it won't be as refined. As such, these will probably just be set-price, OTAs, DTAs, stuff like that. No auctions, customs, or what have you, otherwise it would defeat the purpose. Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind about it later if it goes over well, maybe switch up the states of the adopts and make these my mains idk.

What are they?
  ✿ Depending on their type, these tiny things are assitants that aid you with your technological needs.

What's the difference between Datadrives and Phonics?
  ✿ Datadrive type
      ✿ Mainly for storing data, like any USB portable drive
✿ Tails have a USB end, ears can be flipped up and down
      ✿ Have on and off functions based on the positions of their ears: up position = on, down position = off
      ✿ Can talk in order to replay stored information back to you, and can talk in emoji
  ✿ Phonic type
      ✿ Mainly for stereo use, like a speaker
✿ Tails have an audio end, ears act as speakers
      ✿ Have on and off functions by pressing down on their ears: press until glow = on, press until no glow = off
      ✿ Incapable of speech, usually expressing emotion via facial expressions or tail motion

How do they work?
  ✿ Simply input their tails into the correct plug, and they'll do their work. They also work as tiny friends to keep you company. If their ears are glowing, they're ready for action. If their ear glow start to blink, it means they're running low on energy.

What do they usually look like?
  ✿ Their wardrobe is mostly limited to school uniforms. As they're mainly used by students, they're dressed for the part but can vary on what type of uniform they wear.
✿ You can also hide their wire tails by retracting them and plugging it into the functioning tail extension. Datadrives are limited to fluffy tail types, while Phonics are limited to skinny tail types.
✿ All types also have ahoges (single lock of hair that sticks out), which curls up so you can put an attachment to it and bring them around. Large types are usually carried around instead of attached.
✿ They also come with everyday items as part of their design to help distinguish them and give them some personality (usually works better if the item is owned by the owner). Items such as a bracelet being their belt or headband, a ribbon as their version of a scarf, etc.

What colours can they have?
  ✿ Their main palette consists of black and white. Certain numbers of colour accents can determine their rarity.
      ✿ 2 colour accents = common
      ✿ 1 colour accent = uncommon
      ✿ 3 or more colour accents = rare
      ✿ None = super rare
  ✿ For example (as shown above with the mascot): Pastel's ears are a common trait because there's 2 colour accents; his eyes are a rare trait because there's 3 colour accents; his clothing is a super rare trait because there are no colours. Overall, he is an odd one out used for example and the ones being released won't be this confusing.

What kind of kemonomimi ear and tail designs can they have?
✿ The colours of their designs are limited only to the overall total of their colour accents, and their hair is usually white. Datadrive ears and tails can be any design, but Phonic ear designs cannot be changed.
✿ The disk shape (eye shine in the middle of their eye) also determines what their main pattern is.

How tall are they?
  ✿ They vary in size in relation to what they're capable of. The larger they are, the louder the Phonics can become and the more storage the Datadrives can have.
      ✿ 17 cm = common
      ✿ 30 cm = uncommon
      ✿ 10 cm = rare

Do they have genders?
  ✿ No, they don't have genders. You're welcome to address them and dress them up how ever you please.

Can they die?
  ✿ They can't die, but they can break to the point of being beyond repair. They also need to recharge.
      ✿ Phonics can self-recharge: simply turn them off and they'll go into sleep-mode to charge. If they're too low on energy, Phonics will go into forced sleep-mode and reactivate when ready.
      ✿ Datadrives have to be plugged in to be recharged, but can remain active while charging. If they run out of energy, they'll collapse like a toy without batteries until plugged in.
