Description My original story idea "Sacred", a Boys love story based off of Ancient Egypt with my two characters Seth and Horus based off of my Yugioh OC's, and I was inspired by Kuzai story "Purest Temple" with the concept of the sacred prostitute for the Pharaoh's as well as the plot with Yugi and Atem

The story is about a Priest named Seth who is looked down on due to his unknown heritage but was adopted by the late Pharaoh and was treated like his own son, much to the disdain of his wife and son, Queen Cleopatra and Prince Funsami. When the Pharaoh died suddenly, he had a lonely childhood and was bullied by Funsami constantly with Cleopatra being cold to him, causing Seth to be distant, and when he discovers he's gay, he wasn't sure if he can be with anyone as he felt like being a priest with no family lineage would be a problem and was afraid to get his heart broken after the years of torment by his stepbrother and stepmother.

One day, in a trial the guards bring forth a beautiful Roman boy named Amedaeus, who has murdered his master and was to be put to death, until Seth stepped in and convinces his stepbrother to spare him as Amedaeus was abused by his previous master and he was about to kill him first until Amedaeus defended himself. Funsami was going to scoff at Seth's suggestion to spare him until Funsami got word that the master was messing with his money and double crossed him. Infuriated by this knowledge and the fact Amedaeus did him a service by killing him as he would have put the master to death, he agrees to spare Amedaeus. But in a cruel twist by Funsami, he has Amedaeus become Seth's Sacred Prostitute as he knew Seth like men and would go to the brothels to meet male prostitutes, which horrified Ameadaus and infuriated Seth.

So Amedaeus does not trust Seth at first, while Seth kept a respectable distance. Of course Seth can't help but admire Amedaeus from afar for his beauty and wit, while Amedaeus starts to see Seth in a different light from how he's different from the snobby nobles and how Seth was an outsider like him.

But as their feelings for eachother grow along with their passion, so do the political problems as the Romans and Egyptians still have a rivalry between them after Alexander the Great Conquered Egypt, and Funsami was making things worse for their Kingdom with his greed and the rumors about his Concubines vanishing from the palace, and a conspiracy involving the previous Pharaoh's untimely death.

Will Seth and Amedaeus realize their love and stop a civil war from happening, or will tragedy strike them?

What do you guys think of this story? Would you be interested in reading it if I wrote it?
