I loved that scene, and always wanted to know what the little birds looked like
It's done very well, perfessionally I must say.

Man, this is amazing!! It's stunning to see these two in your style and I'm loving the un-inked figures!
I'm actually pretty floored by this. I even did a little double take when I saw the title. Everything about this fits the tranquility of that scene so perfectly. You've really captured a side of Mati never seen outside the writing and Marelo - you've captured him almost exactly how I pictured him, with the darker color and everything. The second I saw this up close and knew instantly who this was! Not to mention, your portayal of Mati is especially cute!
The composition is fantastic too! It's such a simple scene in the story, but it really begins to take on so much more seeing it illustrated. The way you contrast the vastness of the night sky and fields with the affectionate image of a father and his daghter stargazing really grounds the scene well! I love the way this pulls me down from the hints of a vast world beyond down to nothing more than two birds sitting in the grass. It gives them so much more significance!
Simply amazing job! Thank you, Lone! ^v^ You certainly did these two justice.
