Update Sept 13th: Replaced the old dull-colored version with a bit 'fresher' scan version._ _ _ _
Finally... FINALLY! The work I started about ten months ago, the work which I was always worried about ruining it, and the work which proved me that I probably can paint. Aquarels, my new love!
Yes, indeed, this is my half of the trade with awesum ~KonsiWagner (Here's her half: [link] ) This is Yuuna, the forest phoenix. She must have one of the most beautiful desings I've ever seen for a phoenix! And she's really a pain in the butt to be painted. How can you survive with her desing, Konsi? :'D
The pic may look a bit weird in some parts because I scanned this in three parts. The original piece is way too big for my scanner. And it looks otherwise so much better IRL, too.
And if I may say, I feel pretty proud of this work. The anatomy fails especially with the wings and the concept isn't the best I could come up with, but maybe it's because I worked so long with it and learned a lot about painting while doing it. And I just love green myself xD Hmmm, gotta paint something for myself in some point. But seriously talking, I don't feel like I'd want to paint anything for a while. Pro Markers, here I come!

The colours are beautiful and reach a death that I don't often see with tradisinaly work. The detail is stunning. Your right about the anatomy on the wings though, also it could have done with more vegantion behind the top of the waterfall so it does look like it sort of coming from nowhere.

Oikein tyylikäs kuvanen teikäläiseltä! Ensin katsoin että onko se ruvennut photarilla maalailemaan, mutta naksahdin kun tajusin että vesiväreillähän se... *.*
Konsin hahmoja olenkin tässä aina silloin tällöin vilkuillut. ;3 Hyvin olet kyllä tämänkin yksilön yksityiskohdat saanut toteutettua. Mahtavana pidän etenkin töyhtön seutua jossa pienikin piiperrys on tekniikkaan nähden niin selkeää! 
Tausta on suhteellisen simppeli, mutta se antaa mukavasti tilaa itse hahmon pikkutarkoille piirteille. Varjostuksilla et ole mässäillyt, mutta sävyeroja ja muita efektejä kyllä löytyy. Etenkin valkoisella geelikynällä tehdyt silaukset ovat olleet suorastaan välttämättömät ja kyllä näyttävätkin hyviltä. :3
Ehkä anatomiastakin voisi joitakin asioita mainita. No, pään seutu on oikein tyylikäs, mutta oikea (meistä katsottuna vasen) siipi on hieman venkura. Olkapää on kovin alhaalla ja siipi kääntyy hieman kummallisessa kulmassa. Sulat ovat joka tapauksessa pysyneet hienossa järjestyksessä. <3 Toinen siipi taas on olkavartta lukuunottamatta hienosti toteutettu. (kuka oikeasti osaa tehdä siiven tuohon kulmaan niin että se näyttää järkevältä?) Pyrstöä mietin vähän, että onko se tuon oksan yläpuolella ristiriitaisesti paljon "täydempi/tuuheampi" kuin oksan alapuolella. Tosin, kun vähän katselin Konsin omia kuvia Yuunasta, niin kyllähän se pyrstö vähän tuollainen on. ^^' No jaa...
Kun nyt vielä ehdin mainita, niin yleinen asettelu on kyllä onnistunut.

I came back from summer camp a couple of days ago and there isn´t much going on in my inbox right now because I´ve been so inactive on here for the last few months. Then I llogged in today , didn´t expect anything new at all ,and BAAMM I get this awsome painting in my inbox and realize it actually is for me 
You did a great job , Yuuna looks just the way she´s suposed to look (I´m a little unhappy with the way she looks on some older pictures I drew of her and am sometimes afraid people will draw her like that but here she looks exactly the way she should, I have no idea how you did that xD) I don´t see what´s supposed to be wrong with her wings they look great to me , looking at well drawn wings always manages to make me happy :3
Love the way you did her face . The background looks epic as well ,I´m sure Yuuna loves it too, it´s so green and tropical rainforest-ish.
Overall this painting looks just great,awsome, epic, amazing, brilliant, fantastic and any other adjective for really REALLY good you can think of
Can´t wait to get my hands on the original ,I´m sure it looks even better as scanners tend to be quite evil to watercolours xD

Haha, people tend to say that I sometimes managed to 'read people's minds' with some art pieces, especially with art trades x'D I don't know how that happens, but maybe it happened once again... I think I want a tinfoil hat o_o
And I think Yuuna has more feathers on her right wing than on the left, and the feathers look a bit weird for me, but maybe I only think they're somehow strange x3

Hi 
It was great ,gotta love the British people ,they´ve got such a great sense of humour ^^ It was mostly just my mum and me though as my brother flew to his girlfriend in Hamburg after just a couple of days ...
We spend about two days in Dover (because that´s where we arrived by ferry) ,most of the time in London ,then visited Stonehenge and then spontaneously decided to drive to Cardiff for the last day (because we where quite near to there and it´s the capital of Wales and we´ve never been to Wales before), my mum didn´t quite understand why I found it so funny to be there as she had never heard of neither Cardiff ,DW or Torchwood before o.0
She did love it there though
Now I´m back to boring Germany ,that´s full of German-speaking Germans until further notice ...and schools starting on Monday -_- meep!
It is lovely to sleep in a proper bed instead of a tiny little tent though :3
Hope you can go to Britain too someday ^^ can´t wait to get your painting <3
