Iam glad your are seen these photos through my eyes. I try to shoot photos like there paintings in a dream state, a little help from my ambient tunes in mp3 player while shooting and editing really helps.

The surreal painting look is purposely done, the "so other wordly" is from being spaced out while shooting due to my ambient tunes on my MP3 player ?????

The swirls in the grass are very interesting. The landscape and the lighting have an almost Teletubbies atmosphere to them.

I like your choice of words "bend the rule of thirds" I have never heard that one But I like it.
Never paid any attention to composition while taking this shot I was mesmerized by the red tree and the ambient tunes I was listening on my MP3 player which I think has a profound affect while looking for subject matter to shoot!!
