This is the painting commissioned by *Tizrak . I spent a lot of time thinking about the title, then I happened to look at the whole background and it somewhat reminded me of Loreena McKennitt's song.Pose reference from `lockstock , both women.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the soft flow of everything, and the anatomy and pose on the two women are great! Love the costume design as well

I really, really, really, really how their skirts flow into the ground. It's awesome. The little details in the clothes and hair are also very cool.

Wow, this is amazing. I adore your choice of colors.
The detail here is so perfect and wonderfully placed. The expressions on the women's faces really seem to tell a story. I wish I could draw cloth folds like that, and the way the bottoms of the dresses just melt into the ground fits so perfectly.
Keep up the amazing work!

I never painted realistic cloth folds before... That's why it took a while.

An Aiptek HyperPen 12000U. It's fairly large and reasonably cheap.

I had two Aiptek tablets and the first one after many years still works perfectly, I gave it to my father to buy a larger one. Besides, I could never afford a decent size wacom.

Well, my dad bought me a wacom for Christmas two years ago. It's pretty small... But I can live with it. But the eraser all of a sudden stopped working and my cat chewed the button out of it. So it's useless other than as a pen. It even does this weird wobbly thing. /shrugs

Yay! You did a wonderful job with my idea - I thought my idea was going to *lose* detail, and instead it gained a lot, becoming everything I could have wished out of the concept - and absolutely beautiful too! *does happy dance for a long, long time*

Superb work. I like the composition of the whole picture and how the two halves seem to merge into each other so well. All the details in the picture are really well done; I especially like the pattern on the left hand woman's dress, and how it follows the fabric folds so well. The black birds in the background of the icy side are a nice contrasting touch to the butterflies on the other side as well.

Thanks! I'll tell you a secret: the pattern is actually flat. It only *seems* to follow the folds... Tricks of the trade.
