We've come a long way.

I know I haven't posted something nice in a while so I decided to go kinda all out with this one.
I attempted a much thinner line-art then I usually do. I gotta say I'm pretty happy with this. although it took forever
Lil Aspen has grown so much.

Special talent: Although he refuses to believe it Aspen is a beautiful poet and a fantastic writer. In most of his awkward teen years and youth he spent his time writing to channel his emotions. He has a small messy notebook filled with beautiful love letters and poetry. Sadly most ponies are oblivious to his gifting due to a very low self-esteem and shy nature. He's a mommas boy through and through.

Personality: Aspen is the sweetest lil noodle to walk the earth. His greatest weakness being caring too much for those he doesn't even know. He loves most strangers more then he loves himself. Aspen is extremely love sick, he falls hard easily and usually prefers simply writing about the pony rather then actually talking to them. His crushes are completely innocent but his heart is always broken when he sees them waltz off with some pony else.

Bio: Aspen was born in pony vile and has lived there his whole life. Aspen was the result of a short lived fling between the father of chaos and the mother of kindness. He was an accident but he was not a mistake as Flutters always says. Even with such complications the relationship between Fluttershy and Discord still continued into a wonderful friendship after their split. Although he loves both his parents he does favor his kind and sentimental mother. Chaos never caught his fancy, to his fathers extreme disappointment. Although Discord loves his son to death they don't have a lot of common ground, besides awkward noodle bodies. Even then Aspen strictly walks on all fours. He's able to walk on two hooves but he wishes to blend in as much as possible. (a hard task indeed)

Fluttershy adores her son, she does worry terribly about him. She tries her very best to encourage him and break him out of his self doubt but to not much avail. She loves him all the same. Discord and Fluttershy split it off when Aspen was fairly young so he wasn't too damaged by it. He was younger then one when everything had happened and for a long while Flutters was completely content with just her and her bundle of joy. Of course later on she was reencountered with Sombra, facing the task of reforming him like she had discord. Being very successful with that the two found feeling for each other and were eventually wedded. Aspen of course was very skeptical at first, begging his mother to pursue a less dangerous line of work. In the end Sombra turned out to be a fantastic father, him and Aspen grew very close.

Aspen also was fairly close to his half sister Eloquence, they nerded out over the most recent comic series' and sometimes Aspen even shared his poetry with her. Ellie relished his visits to Canterlot, conversing over philosophy and mangas. Jax always made sure to harass and bother his older sister when Aspen was around, as well as play many practical jokes on the skittish noodle. Aspen never minded much because he saw how obviously happy it made Ares. At one point he'd arrive in Canterlot castle wearing a football helmet and gear. In this sense Jax always liked Aspen in a odd sense.
