For Christmas, I actually got Spyro: A new Beginning. Sadly..it was awful, and the characters made me want to hit my head with comcrete. After a half hour playing, I started thinking "Why couldn't this game be like Sly, cartoony and fun, yet still sappealing to teenagers".And so my hatred of Spyro was so great, I was inspired to paint this pic.
I'm actually really happy with how this turned out. I tried keeping the colors and comic-book style of the games, and I think it turned out well. ^^

Only because 1: I'm terrible at painting moons. Experience has taught me this. And 2: Because I was too lazy to paint each individual star. For the moon:

I've played a bit of A New Beginning too, it was quite a disappointment D:> I hated the enemies too, so boring and repetitive. I just couldn't bare to play it, even though it had Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman providing voice talent *le sigh*

Just double checking. I played that a guy friend's house one time, and it was really fun, but I've never had one for myself, partially because I don't own (or when I did never used) a playstation.

I never got to try more than a demo of Sly.... :C
Also, The whole Legend of Spyro trilogy is horrible. Too serious, and too far from the spyro old fans knew... Plus, Sparx talking made me wanna shoot things... a lot. His voice is never the same from game to game either... Sorry. Just thought I'd make my rant.

Yeah. I was hoping it would be as fun as the old spyro games were for me. I was terribly disappointed. :C And some people like the Legend trilogy better than, say, the original PS1 trilogy. And that makes me sad. Spyro was never meant to be so serious. :C
