Very recently, I saw the movie for the first time. It was good, but in my opinion, it wasn't as good as the show from the 80s. I just love the character variety, the emotional concepts, and pretty much everything. I would love a new CGI Astro movie "series" completely based off of the the show from the 80s. Kind of like Star Wars and how there's a movie after another. If Astro Boy did that, that would rock. I might make something promoting that.

Yes, I agree with you. The '80s Astro Boy was the best series in my opinion. I really didn't like the 'floating island in the sky' and a lot of the concepts in the movie. It would have been better if it was set in Tokyo.

Yeah it was certainly very different. Metro City seemed like a tough place to grow up. Anyway, you probably already heard since it's old news now, but another Astro Boy movie is on it's way which will apparently be live action. Any article I read on it dates back to mid February of this year, but I just found out now.
