I hate my printer and scanner, they ruined the picture *sob*Anyway this is my coloring on ~xTwoHeartsx 's drawing >> [link]
I asked her for the permission to color her picture so here we go!
Hope I didn't ruin you picture, Rin-san ||orz..
Sora, Riku and Dream eaters belong to Kingdom Hearts.
Neku Sakuraba belongs to The World Ends With You/TWEWY.

not just the bg, but you can add more contrast to all of them..
maybe you can choose to make sora as the center (accent) of the image so you could do something to him like making him more 'eye-catchy' than the others.. like adding more 'pressure' when you're applying the color to make more contrast or making 'lineart' outside sora's form etc..
just some advices though.. I'm sure you'll find your own comfortable style eventually..
(I'm still searching myself.. hahaha)
