I like all the little details in this like the mushrooms and brickwork and the skeleton, being black and white really brings out the creepyness of it as well!

Thank you!
The person who requested it from me doesn't know this, but this drawing was inspired (somewhat) by the first game from the Divinity series released by Larian (the og one, every subsequent title by them I played wasn't half as good). I liked their dungeon design a lot. I'd do more of this stuff but I need to work on my technique more before I attempt anything more serious ^^Ā

Oh do you mean Divine Divinity? I did play that back in the day and it was pretty good and that is cool that is what inspired this piece! Actually I find a lot of old RPG games have some interesting and unique art designs and I always liked Saga Frontier 2 because it had nice watercolour style backgrounds. Still you should do more pictures in this style, its a bit like fantasy concept work in a book!

Yes, this is the game I meant, it still remains one of my favorites. The art in classic 2d titles has always been one of my main sources of inspiration. IĀ will definitely try to do something similar in the future^^

Your crosshatching is really amazing! I also love the way you shaded the background

Thank you ! I actually consider my linework to be the the weakest aspect of my art...

I wouldn't say that! The line quality is actually pretty nice. But if you think that you can always try warm up sketches. I have like 20 pages in my sketchbook just filled with lines and shapes. It really helps!

It's actually true, though. That being said I've made a lot of progress in the recent years.Ā
Thanks for the advice !!
