So, one of Elisia's secret wishes is to be a mermaid and explore the ocean. She doesn't tell many people about this dream because she's afraid that people will think she's immature because of it.

To explain the seahorse, that's a second wish of hers. To have a seahorse as a pet. Her parents have offered several times to buy her one, but she is determined to save up and buy it for herself.
