That she is, and the display was awesome, even if she is more quiet than the props. My favourite was the Sea Fury display though. You should´ve seen me on the end of that day, grinning like stoner on 20 kilos of weed.

HAHAHA! I bet. We have airshows here once a year, not many WWII birds fly in. Wish more did.

Yeah, me too, Hahnweide is only every two years and then there is a smaller one, but those are the only ones close to my hometown. There aren´t as much Warbirds on the Hahnweide than on some U.S. airshows, but then we got some very unique planes. Still I have something up my sleeve that will beat even the WW2 warbirds by far!

Was a good day, I recommend going to your next airshow whenever you are down! We had a Rotorhead like you there, he was flying an Alouette. Two years ago we had an S-58, would´ve been loads of fun for you to fly.

Sweet! I miss flying. We have one at the Naval Air Station this month, I'll be taking my kids.

I can´t even imagine how it is to have ones wings clipped. I´m looking into joining a Glider club in the next years........seems the german way to go gliders first. Its affordable but needs time. You need two or three years for the glider certificate, then you can get the Motorized Glider and the smal PPL and the JAR-PPL rather quick. And it means flying and not just computer operating like in an airliner. May I´ll do that if I can fit it in my life, and can afford it.

Well over here you kind of decide what you want to do and go that route. If you want to fly helicopters, you learn that. Fixed wing, you learn that. Takes money, but is doable. Nothing like doing the flying yourself and not having computer help. So much fun.
