Drew this about a month ago, wrote the story yesterday (:
The horse is Dave, one of my first horses who still hasn't got a reference >_> I shall make it this summer ^^

'Come on boy', Christian said to Dave. It's around 11 'o clock in the morning and Christian is going through his normal routine of bringing horses to the fields and mucking out their stalls.
After some quite warm weeks the Dutch rainy weather had returned which flooded the outdoor arena and made the field which was used for jumping too slippery and muddy to train properly. With two training areas out of use, the inside arena was the only area which could be used. The FoxWood Stables riders desperately tried to train the horses, but half of the time ended up walking around on the property because the inside arena was being used, or wasting their time placing obstacles to train their jumps which would be determinedly removed afterwards by the dressage riders who couldn't ride their routine with all the obstacles standing in their way.
Because of this the riders tried to find other things to do as they were waiting for their turn to train. Some would randomly start cleaning tack or wattering plants while others kept the other staff from doing their job.
Christian, who didn't need to be in the inside arena, was probably the only staff member who maneged to keep up with his time schedule. He could do his job without needing to hurry and watch how the drama continued.
The big brown white Thoroughbred stallion followed the dark haired guy out of his stall. It seemed that whoever was in the inside arena was eagerly busy destroying or replacing obstacles. Hazel passed them walking towards the stables with a confused Juwel behind her. The mare was fully tacked up but didn't seem to be trained yet. Christian was just going to say hi as he saw the girls extremely annoyed face and decided it would be better to shut up.
Kate was sitting on the grass leaning against the fence of the field in which the dark brown bay stallion Hard Rock was grazing. Se was pulling grass out of the ground which she would drop right afterwards.
'Hi' she said to Christian and blicked shortly at the grazing stallion before standing up.
'You've trained him already?' Christian said and looked in the direction of the horse. There were some dark clouds slowly moving towards them from the west.
'Yup, and now I can wait till Alex is finished riding Chico. Fun.'
'Ah, and Hazel has to wait too I guess? She didn't seem to be very pleased..' Christian smiled and kicked against a rock which laid on the path.
'No, she and Alex planed to train their horses thogether but that didn't seem to work since Chicos jumps are a lot higher then Juwels. But Hazel is attaching some studs in Juwels hoofs so they can train outside. Problem solved. But anywaysss, I heard that Stanley offered you a job to work here as a show jumping trainer.'
'Hmm he did... He asked me to train Chico'
'Well, are you going to take the job?' Kate looked curiously at Christian. His face was partly covered by his black hair. His smile was gone.
'No.' he was staring at something in the distance, not trying to make eyecontact.
'Why not? I heard you are a great rider and we really need a new show jumper.'
'I'm just not interested in riding again' His voice sounded strong, with an annoyed tone underneath.
'Yes but why not? You can tell me.' Kate pulled Christians shoulder, forcing him to stand still, 'Because we're friends, right?'. Christian looked slightly angry. He shoke her hand of his shoulder after a few silent seconds and stepped away.
'I've got my reasons, you should leave them alone.' He said and started walking away with the stallion.
'Just don't decide this that quickly, maybe you make up your mind.' Kate said.
'I won't.'

There are prooobably a lot there/they're/their mistakes, I tend to make those a lot lately x'D
