Well, I needs to infrom you about Raven. She was appeared earlier than you tought. We can saw her at first time in Season 2, the episode "Luna Eclipsed". She was dressed as Devil in cape. BTW in this ep she was a Earth Pony. In season 3, she become a unicorn ( and had promoted to Pricess Celestia's secretary
