Description
Quick landscape study of a forest. I don't excel in the background department so I've been working a lot on speed paintings and quick studies. My mind is silly and wants to wrap itself around every blade of grass and every drop of dew on every single ******** leaf, sooooo I'm working on laying down the important elements without compromising the composition and/or the features of the landscape. This is so beautiful, it reminds me of an enchanted forest in a fairytale kind of story. I love the pretty shades of tinted green. The soft shades of paint create a wonderful, soothing atmosphere. And the black border around the edges really creates a look that frames the picture. The tree on the right just stands out because of the leaves which the viewer something to focus. I also love the idea of bringing a ray of light at an angle, it's like there's a feeling of hope from the dark side, haha. And remember, you need too much detail. The simpler, the better. Great job! ;D
