Description
And here's my latest updated pattern for the medium size, 12 inch long, Pleco plush! His suction cup is extra strong lol He sticks to just about anything, and stays stuck! His fabric makes him lightweight and squishy, not to mention shiny and scaley. Hand sewn fin lines!I do make these on commission, feel free to note me!

You sure can! I make them at a standard 3 sizes:
small (about 3 inches - make good keychains!) - $30
medium (about 6 inches) - $60
large (about 12 inches) - $125
But I can go bigger if you'd like I also have a good variety of fishy fabric colors to pick from!

Well I definitely want an adorable key chain one!
And how about a "Max" size one? How much would that be? I get a lot of customers that want to buy our small baby plecos for tiny tanks and then unknowingly kill them because they don't know how big and beautiful they get! So having a life size one to show then the scale might startle them in some sense!
Also, do you do installments for payments? (For the big one anyways)

Okay! And Sure I can do any size ^^ What size in inches lengthwise might you be thinking for the "max" size? I know those guys can get pretty massive <3 I love that you want to use it as an educational tool XD
And yes, I can do payment installments I would have you sign a set of rules for the payment plan which basically states the same as it says in my "TOS" link on my journals. And I would not start work on the plush until full payment is made. Other than that, I'm pretty loose on how much and when you want to make payments <3

I was thinking around 20-24 inches, that's around the Max sizes I've heard of. Lol
Lol you should make plushies for all giant tank fish! Like goldfish! Ugh I see so many people putting goldfish in tiny tanks and packed in like sardibes. >.< bichirs are another. .-. And OMG...KOI. UGH.

I would love to make a ton of fish, actually I have plans for goldfish because I love them so much <3<3 I wanna make huge goldfish plushie pillows XD And man i have never heard of a Bichir before...what a cool fish o.o looks like a dragon.
aherm, anyway. You would be looking at $300 for a 24 inch one, I think I'd have to special order a super size suction cup for his mouth <3 Which is no problem, and he could also be made without the suction cup if so desired. But it would be pretty fantastic to see something that large hanging from a window...

Yeah, I love bichirs, but they are hard to keep in a tank once they grow!
And people always think their fish are going to be smaller than they actually are!
And I definitely would want the suction cup. Lol gotta hang something that magnificent off the tanks!
If I shaved a few inches of it though, would that cut down on the price a bit? As much as I love my job, I am not paid that well. >.<

WhittyKitty In reply to WolfHaunt [2014-07-29 00:48:35 +0000 UTC]
Sure!
Since you mentioned 20-24" if I go down to 20", I can shave it down to $250
Let me know if that's more your speed, or I can also quote other sizes as well!

How cool! I used to have those fish as pets, I kept calling them "water wild boars" because of their snout-like mouths and their habit of rooting the ground on the aquarium

I used to work in a pet store and Plecos were my favorite fish. It's pretty nifty to see a plush pleco! You did a great job, I like that you make such unusual subject matters into plush form.

This is beautiful. Have you considered sharing the pattern?
I'll be a teacher's aide in introduction to aquariology next semester and I have previosly used plush fish for activities and demonstrations. I would be very happy to be able to use this amazing fish.

Oooh! Cool! I was just wondering, because I've seen fabric like that before and it appeared that it would be really hard to sew.
