It's been a long time since Urfbownd. I drew this pretty much at random.My Ness is really shitty, I know - he doesn't look like he cares at all. I don't really know what I would have done with him, though he should have taken a more actiony pose, probably defending Paula. I didn't have the room on the sheet I drew this on - I may have to redraw him on a seperate sheet to get the effect I want. I absolutely love the hat though.
As for Paula, I tried tracing over her outfit with the Pen tool in Photoshop - and ended up losing a lot of the detail I put into while I was inking with the pens. The old techniques seemed to work best in this case, so I left the ink well enough alone and tweaked it from there. I probably made her arm too shiny. Bleh, it's not supposed to look like plastic XD

Er, I believe Paula has her mouth open, actually. I don't see any lipstick.
Bonus points for the Laughing Man reference, Whoopa. The only thing buggin' me is Ness's neck. It's a good picture otherwise. I'm still impressed with your photo shop skills. Have you tried doing other variations of filters like making it look chalk or color penciled?

UrfBownd, if I remember correct, is like a punk-version. Or at least, that's what everyone else who's spelled it that way seems to have done with it. 
Really, the only real thing (I hate getting petty and random because I know my stuff can turn out annoyingly off, too), is that the hair is wrong. If it was done the way you see in the game and clay model, with that tuft at the front, it'd be a-ok.
With Paula, all I can say is 'don't try the lipstick yet'. But I'd say that to most everyone. Lipstick seems to be one of the most difficult things in an anime picture -- if you don't get it JUST right, it can throw the entire thing off. Such a struggle with characters! Argh! Again, aside from that, fine.
