Ok so, this is the set I had promised, or at least, part of it.For now, you can see my favorite ones featuring flip flops... the next pics will belong to the same set, but will feature my bare feet.
I hope these are the best angles from where you can see my toes in detail, just as you were right in front of them.
Again, my favorite footwear/accessory/polish combination ever, I really love everything here (I think if I had to seduce someone with my feet, and only had a chance, I'd use this exact configuration XD). I think these elements are the best "dress" my feet could ever wear and they come out pretty enhanced in every aspect (without counting that these nails are probably the longest ever you've ever seen on this page, and honestly that's one thing I really love about summer)
P.S.: SORRY for dirt and little pieces of fur on the sheet... my cat LOVES that sofa LOL

Lovable isn't it? It's not for everybody, though, as it's so close to the average skin tone that it could not highlight your nails at all if they're in a bad shape. I myself wear it only when my toenails are pretty long, NEVER when they've been freshly cut.
I adore it... it's classy, but it still looks pretty fresh (it don't make your feet look like the ones of an old lady

It's certainly not for everyday and not for small nails but yours are large enough to still be noticed. 
Neat flip-flops by the way. They look simple but they highlight your feet really well because of their color.

Well I've got blue, brown and black legwarmers... and purple, pink and a couple of other flip flops... I'd have to see which ones work better together!
By the way... you know I've got a pair of high heeled (wedge heel) white flip flops? Would you like to see them?

They were in my my country. As far as I remember it happened 2 times - somewhere in the middle of the 90's when they were a part of a trend of wearing platform shoes like these s40.radikal.ru/i087/1408/82/e7β¦ and their second brief appearance as a fashion trend was somewhere in the first decade of the XXI century. I may be mistaken about the time because it happened long ago but I still see them in the street today, although pretty rare. Speaking about other countries, as far as I know, women in India still wear them including famous celebrities.
You're right about saying they remind Geisha style, I've noticed the similarity long ago.

Yeah they're pretty rare nowadays, and that's a shame cause platform shoes can be really beautiful and sexy!
I don't know if I remember well but some time ago they were part of a trend also here in Italy, but I'm referring to a specific kind of platform shoes, made of wicker, rope or cork, or even wood, that women used to wear in the summer (mostly to go on the beach... I remember flip flops weren't so popular back in the days, they're a relatively recent thing actually).
There's something to say about platform shoes... they don't have a good reputation in my country.
This may sound absurd and ridiculous for you (as it is for me), but you have to know they're usually associated with whores. And I mean actual prostitutes, not only "slutty" girls...
I don't know the real reason for this... maybe it could have to do with the fact they're usually seen as cheap, non-classy shoes? I don't know really... but trust me, if people see a woman wearing platform shoes, they would in the 100% of the cases make a bad comment about her or badmouth her (OF COURSE I'm not talking about the most sober models, like the wooden ones I mentioned, or like those platform / mule hybrids that are usually wore by more mature women). So this is a pretty huge factor for sure...

Honestly, I've never heard about such platform shoe reputation in my country. In here the sign of a stereotypical whore (or someone close like pole dancer or stripper) are these shoes picture-cdn.wheretoget.it/39jb⦠or any high platform or heeled shoes that have transparent elements. These and similar might look questionable too i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/61⦠but the rest depends on the attire, behavior and place.
I remember similar footwear featuring in movies where they were worn by aforementioned women, maybe in Italian movies they wear platforms and that's why such associations. Could you please provide a link with an example of shoes people consider inappropriate?
There was colorful rubber flip-flop trend here too but it faded away, giving way to flip-flops from cloth and leather and gladiator sandals.
And as far as I've heard, youth avoids wearing those "specific kind of platform shoes, made of wicker, rope or cork, or even wood" because older generation still wears them sometimes.
