Description
This is an image that was kindly brought to my attention by Peter Fitzgerald of The Munster Bar. I have circled his building that I believe the photographs of the procession were taken from. You may be able to make out the Photo Studio sign across the building. He has told me that Martha Power, now in her 80's, lived in the building for many years. He is going to contact her to see if she recognises anyone in the collection.Related content

I know. It would be wierd for me after all this time if she turns around and knows them all.

Yeah, I can imagine that being a little awkward/uncomfortable/generally weird. When do you expect her to have an answer?

I am preparing a photo album of part of the collection for Peter Fitzgerald to show to her, hopefully next week.

not one of the images in your find? ridding to the hunt....11 or so horses and a pack of hounds vs. one fox.
Sounds like a great lead though

No its not part of the find and I don't agree with fox hunting either. Foxs are incredibly beautiful animals even if they do cause some havoc. Anyway there's more humane ways of controlling overpopulations. However this is not the time or place for an animal rights debate.
But yeah I'm looking forward to redoing the shots from whichever window matchs the angle. Only thing is theres a fairly big tree thats currently full of leaves, I'd say it could be blocking some of the shots. I'll have to cut it down in the middle of the night. No I mean it would have been better to shoot before the leaves returned.

Guess you will have to wait until the leaves fall

I'm going to try to have a look in advance especially since the Fitzgeralds, the current owners of the building (The Munster Bar) are quite excited about the discovery and are showing a great interest in the images and the website.

I just found out that Martha Power, the woman who used to live there, is now 86. 2006 minus 86 years is 1920. The fact that the collection seems to hail from the early 20's makes me excited and nervous that she could be able to piece it all together, she could even appear in the series.

of course, she would have been an infant, but might at least recognize some of the people

In theory she could even be in the collection. She could even be the little girl. Imagine.
