this kind of photos really reminds me of the inner sleeve artworks in Opeth's albums! They're all by Travis Smith, do you know his art?

Beautiful! Although, if you messed with the contrast, I think it washed everything out too much, especially in the midtones.

Thnks, yeah i always do it, i hate high contrast, as you can see on all my images, not all of them, but most of them have a low contrast, but anyway, glad you like it!

Oh, I don't mean high contrast. I mean that it looks rather fake because it has less than it should have. This is not to say you should go in there and put the contrast at 120% or something like that.

Describe fake? I don't get it. I think, there is no such thing as can or can't. I play with photos a lot, i don't actually care about tehnical representation of an image, accept composition, but more trying to express atmosphere, so yeah you are right in a way, and probably most of my images suck in "professional way", but that dosen't bother me, simply cause i don't care about it. Hope I understand it now, heh! Cheers mate

Oh, I meant like an aquatint print, for example, as opposed to a photograph. You know? Anyway, I totally agree with you. XD I'm always getting picked on for junk. But hey, if the image is pretty or thought-provoking, really that's what's important. I'm glad I had a look a this today; it's both pretty and thought-provoking.
