Meet the newest member of the Pantheon of Goddesses of Glutonny! Astra is from a far-flung future but she landed in ancient Egypt and turned it into a plentiful utopia, earning her heft and the title of the Star!

Bio: Astra is from a future where she crash-landed her time-traveling spaceship on Earth during the early days of the Egyptian days of myth. The people who found her believed her to be a goddess, but she saw that the specific city she was in was ruled by a selfish pharaoh. She used her superior technology (which people mistook for magic) to overthrow him and, since people thought she was a goddess, they put her in charge. She was deeply grateful for having been rescued from her wreck and decided to share her technological knowledge with the people so their lives would be easier. Along the way, she was pampered excessively and became absolutely enormous from the bountiful harvest but never dug into her people’s shares. In fact, offering food as tribute to the pharaoh was also seen as a nice way to not let the over-abundant food go to waste. She essentially accidentally discovered the concepts of Plenty that Debbie praises, which got her attention. The fat cat decided to keep an eye on the pharaoh to see if she really had the means to be a goddess of gluttony.
Over time, the pharaoh grew to evolve Egypt into a technological marvel of a society, on par with myths like Atlantis and science-fiction cities. Yet in spite of it all, she never focused on conquests: she’d always have people’s well-being and satisfaction in mind, never provoking war and always willing to share resources with neighbors. Her version of Earth grew to extreme prosperity. Eventually, Debbie spoke to her and asked if she would like to ascend to a goddess of gluttony. She accepted, joining the Sun, goddess of Plenty, and the Eclipse, goddess if Devouring, as the Star, goddess of Comfort. She values pampering, worship and relaxation.
