Description
Now for sale in my Esty shop [link]This listing is for a pair of werewolf ear tips with white fur, named after the white werewolf Dominil in Martin Millar’s Werewolf Girl series. It’s a fairly rare color for a werewolf prosthetic and it looks particularly great on blondes. This is also the most realistic set of werewolf ears you’re likely to find for sale online. I have made my own werewolf costumes in the past and I have always gotten loads of compliments on the smallest details (like the ears.) Being a major fan of the lycanthrope I could never settle for those cheesy badly painted prosthetics in costume shops, so I decided to alter them and make them my own. These latex ears have been hand-painted to mimic the subtle color nuances in real human flesh. No flat, band-aid pink paint job here. This paint is extremely durable and topped off with a thin layer of semi-gloss varnish to capture the sheen and texture of an actual ear. I hand-laid two different types of faux fur to these ears to create the gradation of color found on the coat of a white wolf. Check out the close up photos—the fur really looks like it is growing out of the skin. In the left ear, just for an extra fun touch, I’ve added a removable silver cartilage earring of a tiny gun. These ears are easy to apply with your average costume shop spirit gum and should last you a long time. Let them be the perfect finishing touch to your werewolf getup or even wear them casually as a subtle nod to your favorite monster. * They are so convincing that people might not even know that they’re a prosthetic.
*May also be suitable for fauns, satyrs, hobbits, yeti, goblins, trolls, dark fae, and any other sort of ‘were’ or anthropomorphic animal.
