They're foreshortened towards the viewer. Maybe I made the hands a tad too small to complete the illusion, hmmm...

yes i think, too. or those sleeves are confusing, i think they hide the most important view of the arms and intensify the disharmony. but as i already said, it is still a nice drawing made with good skills.

Yeah... I always thought the arms looked weird too, but I followed the reference pretty well so I thought it was allright.
I guess it's a good example of when you should "enhance" the reference to be able to communicate better what's happening in the piece. Thanks for the comments!

thank you. i've got it! Its not her arms and her hands are also fine. But its the head. If it was just a bit smaller, the illusion of perspective (huge long legs, shortened arms, small shoulders - what the camera makes) would be perfect.
