I got my Sasuke cosplay from cosplayfu.com, and it was around $80. There's also cosplayhouse and even ebay is pretty good sometimes. I don't recommend 339cosplayshop, though. It's pretty pricey...

If carrying on Orochimaru's legacy means wearing his makeup... there's Kabuto already, so there's no need for Sasuke to ridicule himself.

Kabuto can carry on Orochimaru's looks and Sasuke can carry on the power. Unless it comes from stealing the bodies' of underage boys...
And Tsunade's jewel thing would bring more attention to Sakura's rather large forehead.

he took what remained of orochimaru after sasuke overtook the essence of him (so basically kabuto just transplanted orochi's snake body into himself). with that, he gained part of orochi's power, but the orochi inside him is constantly trying to take over, and he has to fight it. at least that's what he told naruto when he gave him the bingo book after sasuke left the hideout.
