Here is Ariel looking a bit pious and also a tad aprehensive for some reason. Perhaps she's really hoping you'll love the new and labor-intensive shading technique I tried on her hair this time around!

I gave Ariel much darker skin than she normally has so that she would look a bit more Mediteranean The background I tried to invoke images of waves for Ariel's watery mermaid associations and the pillars for a sort of greek inspiration. I hope that comes across!
