Description
This week I'll be uploading a picture a day, each one of a character requested by one of my watchers.Today it's Chris Redfield for Resident Evil 5. This was kinda hard since the Resident Evil series is completely off my radar and have no idea about the character. Hell, if the next game was nothing but soapy lesbians I don't think I'd care. I dunno why, just one of those things that my brain is pre-programmed with indifference to.
However, oddly, I do rather enjoy the movies and the shit-storm of racism that arose around shooting black zombies did provide quite a lot of entertainment.
Anyway, just one more to go (Psycho Mantis) and I can rest...

I've just finished RE5 on Veteran with the girlfriend, so I'm well acquainted with it now! Since I only started playing it at RE4 (a very good game I heartily recommend, as long as it's not on Wii since that's just a bloody stupid way of playing it) I missed all the previous story of RE's 1-3. RE5's story seemed to be aimed more at those who had played the first three, but it wasn't as incomprehensible as, say, playing MGS4 without having played any of the others.
As for Chris, he's a shaved gorilla with cantaloupe melons hidden in his arms. I usually translated most of his dialogue into "ook ook ook".

I have heard the RE4 is a highlight of the series.
Heh, nice to see that the character is as two-dimensional as he seems from the screenshots.

RE4's brilliance is the fact that it only loosely ties into the overall plot of the series. It's so full of brilliant moments, very enjoyable stuff.
Chris's only redeeming feature is that he makes your balls feel big when you finally unlock the infinite ammo gatling gun. Seriously, the gun (and ammo pack) is huge, it basically turns Chris into Vulcan Raven.

Though when I've played RE I'm always the girl because 1) I play it at my friend's house and he's the guy and 2) At the beginning of the first game on gamecube that dude with the massive gun kills that zombie for you, and you already have a gun :3
