Description I'm aware that promethium fumes are unlikely to have any great impact on a primarch but I guess there's no harm in trying.

This one has been on my to-do list for about the last month although it feels weird to do one that doesn't have the Emperor in it. I did mention that the next one would contain Horus but decided to wait off on that one for a while, although I wasn't intending these to have any firm continuity I'd prefer to do all the pre-'Horus gets stabbed with a magic sword by a fat bloke' events first, then get onto the heretical stuff.

Also, what did you guys think of the novel Fulgrim? It seems to be one of those novels that divides, people seem to either love it or hate it. For the record I quite liked it, one of the better Heresy books in my opinion.

Pretty much sums up my feelings about Fulgrim's character...a tad stupid. But I loved the book personally.

i loved that book fulgrim is one of only two traitor primarchs i feel sorry for the second is magnus the red.
fulgrim because he was unaware that the sword was slowly corrupting him and magnus the red because he was only trying to help the emperor but it backfired on him

Then Magnus is not a traitor, he just failed and was banned as a "reward".

Perfection is never admitting you're hearing voices...

Or if you're Spec Ops: The Line, the voice is comin' out a radio.

I liked Fulgrim, it did a good job giving the Primarchs distinct personalities and quirks, but that's probably mostly due to the fact that two of them provided our point of view on several occasions. Still, it made the Primarchs people instead of just Uber-Warriors, even the Loyalist ones, and they tend to be put on the backburner insofar as developing their personalities.

I really like this strip because I kind of had the reaction of "Wait, you've started hearing weird voices in your head and you're totally ok with this?"

I liked Fulgrim. It had excellent action, good characters, and a decent plot. What more can one ask for? Good work on this comic!

This is what the Imperial truth does to people (including Primarchs). Since they don't believe in daemons, they aren't on their guard around them, and are easy to influence. Not that I think that's a bad thing of course, believing in the Primordial Truth and everything.

well actually not thinking about daemons keeps them away what with the warp being a manifestation of thoughts and all

That's exactly what they tried though, it turned half the Imperium to Chaos because they weren't prepared to deal with any type of temptation.

Also, you should totally go on a murderous rampage and kill your best friend/ brother and most loyal commander.

Eh. Fulgrim was ok. The poop-blood-death orgy was weird. I liked Angel Exterminatus way better.

I guess you don't get much more Slaaneshi than a poop-blood-death orgy.

Haven't read that yet, I've heard favourable things.

"I guess you don't get much more Slaaneshi than a poop-blood-death orgy."
That sounds more like something those naughty senior prefects Khorne and Nurgle would think up while wanking together in the showers of Hogwarp's Preparatory Academy For Young Chaos Gods.

It's been repeated in codex after codex: an orgy isn't truly Slaaneshi unless the Lord of Pleasure's personal living incarnation is presiding and, as yet, there hasn't been any mention of Andrej Pejic.
