I've mentioned before (not that I expect anyone to remember) how at my school I ended up in the weird thing where you either liked Final Fantasy VII or Ocarina of Time. This basically was just rivalry between those with a Playstation and those with an N64 so as a Playstation owner I was most definitely in the FFVII camp.Skip forward many years and I finally play the game I've been told for over a decade was brilliant... and find it is indeed, pretty good and very innovative for the time. I feel this observation will not particularly affect anyone as it's hardly a unique standpoint.
Also, is it technically possible to ever be too late using this meme?

That might not be such a bad idea, I've got saves for that littered about on various memory cards so other, weirder parts could be shown... like the Golden Saucer. I'll have a think about it, thanks.
I had toyed with the idea of trying the first few hours of XII, although I don't think I could swing the missus around to the idea. She saw how angry that game made me, she'd be a fool to volunteer for it.

I had a teacher that still hadn't beaten the Water Temple.
I need to play it (and beat it) instead of having watched my brother play it, but that means finding our N64, if we even still have it, and then finding a copy of it. Bastard always hogged the games.

I was fortunate that I had a copy of the Zelda Collectors edition for the Gamecube lying around (it had all the games up to a demo of Wind Waker,bar the CDi and Gameboy ones) so I didn't have to beg/borrow an N64 off anyone.
