Susan Shepard sparred with Garrus in the training room on the Normandy. Garrus grunted. She had landed a punch to the side of his face -right where he'd taken the rocket to the face.
"Holy spirits, Shepard! That hurt! Who pissed you off?" Garrus asked ducking away from another punch.
"No one." Susan said. Garrus struck her shoulder hard. She stumbled back. Garrus went after her. In a matter of seconds he had her by the wrists. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free.
"Don't lie to me, Shepard! Someone pissed you off and I want to know who! Was it Thane?" Garrus asked. Susan's lips compressed into a thin line. Garrus' grip on her wrists tightened.
It hurts... Why is he doing this?! Please someone... Thane, help me! Susan pleaded mentally. There was a click.
"Let her go, Vakarian. I don't want to have to shoot you unless it's necessary." A soft male voice said behind Garrus. Garrus released Susan's wrists so suddenly
