Description
So I decided to step outside of my comfort zone with this piece, color backgrounds never workout with my horses but I think this one is ok. I'm not very happy with his "black" color though......I must say my camera brought the paint colors out but not his poor dear.
So this took me about 3 hrs.....total pain ><
Water colors, crayola pencils, markers, lots of "bleeding" ink, ballpoint pen.....and just about anything else I could get a hold of XD.

Flamin' Spade Stables
The day had arrived for the colt of October's choice to come home to Flamin' Spades. As soon as she pulled up she saw Moss out in the pasture haltering Warned and getting him ready to leave the place he knew so well. October met them at the gate and looked at what a fine stallion Warned had become; his presence reminded her so much of her beloved steed War Lord that she almost wondered why he wasn't demanding control like his Sire would have. He loaded into the trailor quietly and patiently waited as October and Moss said goodbye for now. As the the truck and trailor pulled into the drive of Flamin' Spades October heard the challenge cry of what sounded like War Lord. Sure enough as she pulled around to the barn to unload Warned, War Lord was rearing up to his fullest hieght and crashing into the door of his stall with those crushing hooves of his. She lead Warned by War Lord as quickley as possible, it was raining and she didn't want him to spend the night outside getting drenched. It was a mistake, War Lord bared his fangs and with one last rear brought his stall door crashing down. Warned spooked and went up on his hind feet as well, October knew this would be a deadly fight if War Lord wasn't caught quickly and Warned wasn't rapidly stalled. Warned came down and turned to look at the stallion the seemed to have so much hate for him then lunged snapping the lead October was already pulling on to try and get him into a stall. Both stallions began to circle each other eyes locked sending both into a blinding rage. Warned stopped moving suddenly so War Lord did as well; the young stallion perked his ears and breathed in deeply....October was extremley confused and worried about the outcome of this. War Lord approached Warned with his fangs gleaming and his ears pinned but stopped suddenly. Then turned and walked into his stall like nothing had happened. Warned walked over to October and nipped at her hand, all she could do was stare and wonder.
