Thanks so much! The door was my favorite part of it. Since I made this, I've read a lot of tutorials about hair, and I can see what I did wrong. So... hopefully next time it's better.

ME NEITHER! I cried. Like, actual tears. That almost never happens. And the part where the certain thing happens to the certain person (my friend might read this and she hasn't read the book yet, so no spoilers!), well, it just happened so fast! One moment... "Oh, yay! We win!" and the next "Holy crap! What just happened?" It annoyed me to no end.

Fanfiction will go overboard, I think. Everyone hated the end, so everyone will just create their own. I looked at fanfiction.net 2 days after the book came out, and the entire first page was all "Warning! Spoilers for TSFT!"

Well, it IS a pretty good way to end off the series. It's final. The end. No, "oh, well what about this...?" And really, though I wish it weren't so, Kartik and Gemma could never be together. Society wouldn't allow it. That's way it is. It makes me so angry that people used to be so STUPID...

People are still stupid. I loved the ending, which is saying a lot- especially since I think the only reason I really got into the books in the first place was because I am a white girl dating an Indian guy (then a different one than I am now), and A Great and Terrible Beauty is the first book I ever saw that kind of mentioned that, in the Victorian era no less. So the fact that the romance pulled me in but that I love the ending is kind of ironic. Still, it was more about the fact that Gemma was really discovering herself than it ever was about the romance. However- the fact that Kartik's all branchy now kind of means their love will pretty much always exist, kind of eternal. Its really beautiful in a sad way.
