Description
I watched Robaato's little vid: [link] and decided I liked Ruby's pose in it. Thought it would be kinda fun to put my Star Wars cohort/padawan into it, though it's only a rough approximation I guess. The most fun part was re-positioning 2 pairs of Lekku (the head-tails for those of you who aren't up on Star Wars). The green fellow is my actual character: Male Twi'lek Jedi/Noble.
He's getting a reputation in his little adventuring band as the can-opener, especially since he Force Moved to demolish the Landing Bay Doors of the station they were trapped on so they could make their belated escape.

Very nice, LOVE her pose and outfit. Just one thing, don't light sabers cast light instead of shadows?

"pst, don't look at the man behind the curtain." Yeah, well that's a very good question actually, and generally I'd believe you are right. But even Lucas seems to have questions about that. The trick is that the blade is light contained within a field basically, so perhaps they block light and don't produce very much light spread.
The truth though as far as the render goes, is that the 'sabers are a single object, and there is no way to turn off the shadow they create in portions only. I could make it so it doesn't produce a shadow, but then there'd be no shadow from the handle either.

I like them too, especially the cute girls. Though I gotta say that playing with those Lekku is really something.
