I felt like doing hooomans but apparently pony is engraved into my brain. Also boobs and bikinis are also engraved in my mind. TALLY-HOOOOO!!!!!!!Sorry for the lack of art, spring break is over and exams are coming up! I'll ink this when I get the chance!

Is that a tan or her natural skin color? Looks very good in terms of design and style... but tan and purple? Don't you find it odd? It's kind of a clashing combination, very different from the white/purple combination she has in the show.

How does that relate in any way to dark skin? Or to any color of skin at all? I'm not much for giving them nationalities or a race, I just prefer white Rarity because it looks good from a aesthetic point of view, and for someone like Rarity that's kind of a big deal.

Well you didn't word your reply properly. You did say that people thought of Rarity as dark skinned because of her personality. And I don't see how a skin color can be more humanizing than others.

I think a lot of the fandom that does enjoy ultra-humanized ponies (in which they are different races reflecting their personalities and average American diversity) consider rarity to be usually black, mediterranian, or other dark ethnicities because of her fondness of drama and her colorful language. I personally imagine her as a Slavic Jew but I LOVE when fans don't assume every character would be white

It is rare to see her with such a tan. Then again, in human form, she could have easily gone for that, at least in summer.
This is one of those times when being resistant to the saucy is a superpower. I may recognize the full... mmm, intended implications and impact (yay alliteration!), but it does not even slow my mind down. Thanks to that, I can give feedback to the artistic sides of much more than this.
Regarding her face, you managed to make a human version of Rarity that feels very much like Rarity, particularly in terms of her facial structure and the sort of expression she would have in the situation. The spots of colour on and near her eyelids make for some pretty good-looking makeup. The slant of her eyes manages to retain the distinct Rarity eye shape while feeling alright for a human. Very well done.
Next, I really like the tone work you did here. The shades in her hair and the way they intermix, particularly on the right, are very pleasant, and I also like the variations of skin tone across her body; they help transmit its exact volume and, where applicable, the shiny-smoothness very well. The shadows are also done pretty well; the varying depth is reflected quite nicely indeed. The folds of the shorts (I'll go with that name) are also nicely reflected via that shading. I rather like the texture of the bra, too, it feels just right for a bikini top.
On to the body. To me, it seems that her top has fallen or slid off and she is holding it up, and as I see that top as a hard-cup one, to me the correlation of its size with the apparent size of her breasts is just about perfect in this context. The lines on top of her breasts work well to show that they are being held up. I also very much like the lines on her stomach, they make this feel all the more realistic by giving her an actual shape in this region, and with so few strokes, too.
Finally... Rarity, who're you trying to seduce? Spike is already lying over there on the sand with steam outta his ears. Me... I'll be the first to recognize you as incredibly beautiful and sexy and a dream of many, and I admire you for many things, but I also happen to love Twilight like crazy. So... sorry, darling, but nope.
And back to ye, maker: nothing wrong with mixing pony and them hoomans. Humanizations are far from uncommon. And among humanizations, so is the sexy sort. I don't see anything wrong with you doing this. And should the urge to draw humans persist, I'd gladly welcome you fulfilling it via more humanizations, not necessarily of the saucy kind. But until then, well done!

I love the anatomy! I love the posture and facial expression! and love every single bit about it. Please, please, continue creating human(ized) art? It doesn't even need to be a pony. From the sight of your gallery its evidence enough for you to start developing human art. I believe you've have some other human art that you've set aside as well. I love your art man, and I would love it to see you develop more as you progress along.
