Well, normally I don't upload sketches, but 1) this is a commission for and I couldn't find her email address and thought that she needed to see it and 2) I figured some folks would like to see how shitty my sketches look. Anywho, these are jackbull's characters, a male werewolf and a female vampire. They are mates and they are fun to drawRelated content

She looks so ... attentive. The sheer realism in his mouth alone is just driving me over the edge! This is going to be an astounding piece when finished - it's already striking as a mere sketch!

There's a story in "Heavy Metal" slightly similar to this. But it's more of a War of the Roses, love/hate issue between a vampire and a werewolf.

Yes Fuzzy things are wonderful..so soft so lovable...though I'm not sure how well the werewolf in this particular picture would like being called lovable LOL

You know I have thought about that too, but when I was looking at actual wolf pictures, their eyes are actually much much smaller than most artists, even those whose art is reknowned when it comes to the lupine, depict them. Even so, I agree with you, I will probably make them a tad bit bigger. Thanks for your honest critique.

See, I have gone through moments of thinking that it looks pretty good because he is snarling and he is all puffed up, *like pouty territorial wolves will get*, and then I look at it and want to tweak it a bit. I probably will tone it down a bit at least. Thank you for making the observation.

Actually this is the first piece of 's commission and it is supposed to be in detailed inks. The second piece, which will be HIGHLY graphic, is going to be in color. Thanks for the comment.

That's really beautiful, I love his face... I'm just in awe, the expression is just so powerful. When he says GRR, boy I can feel it down to the tips of my toes! She's just absolutely sekushi, her look just says it all. "Don't even think about it, he's mine, I'm his, that's that!" If THIS is a CRAPPY sketch, dear me, I'm afraid of what a GREAT sketch would be, I'm betting masterpiece! Can't wait to see the coloured version!
