Description Yea this could use some explanation. The shopkeeper in haven won't let you into the back room, so I made Zev use his stealth powers but some how the Shop keeper saw through that. He is better than any darkspawn.

I also derped and only opened the chest and ran away, second time round I realised there was a dead body there.

Panel 1: I spy goodies
Panel 2: Hey you can't go in there
Panel 3: Zev, you can go invisible. See what's back there
Panel 6: I said no going in there!
Panel 7: How did you know?

Lol Love your little cartoons - the expressions are great! And this is one of the best things about DragonAge. Snerk. Having people who can SENSE INVISIBILITY.

Thank you so much

If only my warden was one of those people, I'm forever getting stabbed >^<

No problem, hun!

Hah, my warden's not too bad at that. (Well, most of the time) It's me that needs to actually start considering tactics. Because, like, I keep sending my darling (my main warden is a rogue) right into the thick of the fray then realising she's going to die unless I get someone else over there quickly

Lol, rouges are so fun, but yea, you've got to be careful with them. I'm kinda silly with my mage, I send my mage to blow stuff up then end up running round in circles until the other members kill the enemies chasing me XD.

Rogues are my faves Totally love 'em, and every first PC I make in an RPG like that is a rogue. Seriously, if a game like that doesn't offer rogue as a profession or whatever, I actually consider not buying it. Oh dear...

Haha, I'm so bad with mages, it's unreal. I hardly ever use them myself, just bring an NPC one along for healing and BAMF magic! And lol, I'm replaying DragonAge now in the wait up to DA2 (OMGOMGOMGOMGOMMG) and that was actually what I did when I faced that ogre at the top of the Tower of Ishal at Ostagar It was all like "Right, I'll run in and stab it while it's distracted wi- OH SHIT RUN AWAY". Fail

XD yes, rogues and mages are my favourite. Lots of running around and running away from things. I think I'll choose a rogue for DA2 on my first go through.

SO choosing a rogue for my first playthrough. Then probably a mage. Warriors are the nearest to boring, I find

Totally agree, warriors are cool to have on the team but I could never play as one.

moosewingz In reply to wierdstuff [2011-03-09 00:36:52 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, you need them on the team And Alistair is a darling. But I only ever play as one to, like, fully complete games.

Haha! I did the same thing with Weylen... er whatever his name is. He wouldn't let me go into the back room and I ended up killing him. The first time I booked it! Then I realized that it's so much easier just to go back there.

I didn't even realise you could kill him the first time you met him until my last play through, XD I just kept leaving him and killing him later.

I've tried that too. NPCs cheat. XD

NPCs need to learn to play fair and let us steal their stuff.

Aroihkin In reply to wierdstuff [2010-12-22 05:39:18 +0000 UTC]

Yeah! Though this way you got to loot his corpse and steal everything in the back room.

Lol, very true.

Tehe. Cute comic, and very funny. I've spent quite some time trying to figure out some things too. Like, how did that ogre get to the top of the Tower of Ishal? The doors are much too small for him...
Or if you enter the empty(!) hut in Haven and notice the bloodstained altar, suddenly everybody and their dog know that you know that something's wonky! How does that work? The smaller the village, the faster the grapevine?

wierdstuff In reply to sleepyowlet [2010-12-17 18:20:29 +0000 UTC]

Trying to insert logic into video games never works. Though the first time I found the altar no body cared, second time round thought it would be the same but yea, everyone started to attack.

oh ya, the second playthrough i noticed TONS more stuff that i didn't notice before, like the body of that poor redcliffe knight.

as for the shopkeep? idk, maybe he has merch-senses--he can tell when someone's going for his shit XD

lol, you'd think that guy from antiva (who later contacts you about working with the crows) would at least have it, but nope, no one but the inbred hick in dragon-worshiping town 9_9

that's because he's a npccccc and the door is a TRIGGERABLE area meaning that no matter what you do or which character you switch the thing will always happen

Estelindis [2010-12-17 02:54:44 +0000 UTC]

I know! The game doesn't really handle stealth that well on many occasions.

It really doesn't.
