I recently posted a few images of a certain Tamaranian Princess and the inspiration fountain started spurting up again.I'd like to incorporate this character into a Phoebe Finnley comic (since she's currently on a planet whose inhabitants have the same exact skin, it actually makes sense
) but I'm trying to tweak a few things so she's not a complete copy of Starfire. Her powers are similar to Starfire's, she takes in solar radiation and turns it into her starbeams. But story wise, she'll have a different origin that is molded to the current Phoebe storyline. I think we've all seen enough original characters inspired by a certain amazonian princess to know that this kinda thing is not unheard of.For now, I'm calling her Protoshine and this is what I have so far. I would love any suggestions
BTW I'm keeping the hair, that's not negotiable 
But I'm not sure on the costume. I can't use the same suit, but I do kinda like the old color scheme. Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated. Critique away!

well for the name why not something with solar instead of star cause the sun is a star right plus solar isn't used much for girls you know so breaking the mode would be fun ^^
as for the outfit i think your on the right track but i feel that the colors are a bit off=/

I feel the same way on the colors. But that's just a matter of me trying out a few combinations. The name is tough this one is more of a placeholder. I leaned away from solar in the name because it always felt like a "fire" based power and not a cosmic ray power which is what I'm looking for. Plus theres a couple of solar girls out there already.

What about a lighter purple with a darker almost mossy green secondary color

Yeah, that may be there already just these images weren't done with the best lighting. WIPs were kinda rushed, but I wanted to put her in some kinda setting.
