Well I guess since the revival of Mickey through Epic Mickey failed(RIP Junction Point), Disney just have to buckle up and do it themselves

It failed in the sense that not everyone could afford a Wii Console.

I love it! They combined the awesome old eye style for the two of them as well as the new Toom Boom animation to keep it 2D but easy to make! YAY! I also loved that Minnie's voice actor stayed doing the voice even after her husband died (who did Mickey). I can't wait for more!

I think cartoon is kind of a reboot for Mickey and Friends. Probably to fix one of few of Disney's mistakes, The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which I think that show have ended. They should start making 2D Mickey and Friends cartoons again.

I like the style! I wish they were longer, and not shorts. But I guess it takes a lot of work for them.
