Description

I've been working on a completely revised version of my Aquarius Class deck plans, this time in the 20 pixels per 1 meter scale, and those plans are nearly done (I plan to post them over the weekend). But, in the meantime I thought I'd share my chart of Star Trek species and characters in that 20M scale. Thus chart ended up being a fun side project to turn to when I got frustrated with the Aquarius.

I credit Owen Oulton and Lee Braden as huge inspirations for my tackling the M20 scale. I don't think Owen is on DeviantArt, but Lee is: www.deviantart.com/braden1986 . In my deck plans I credit them as sources of inspiration and examples of how to condense Trek ships into this fairly restrictive scale. But working in those limits was part of the fun.

There are only three non-canon representations here. The visual look of the Tzenkethi, and two of my own species (one of which I freely admit is a rip-off-er, um, homage to the Thermians in "Galaxy Quest". The rest come from TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT and the classic series films & novels.

It only shows 50 characters and 50 species, so I'm sure I missed somebody's favorite. In fact, I wanted to include characters like Sarek, but at a certain point I had to call it quits and just wrap up the project.

UPDATE May 29, 2021:

This morning I had a better idea for the background (this situation is the perfect illustration of why I take forever to post stuff lol). I swapped over to a 5-meter high height marking wall for the background. Along the way to making that change I found a tiny error in one of the figures, and I had to modify the Andorian and Efrosian hair so they didn't blend into the background. I also realized just how tall I made the Sheliak, but that was all guesswork from the brief appearance the species had in "The Ensigns of Command", so .
