What you're looking at are two Tasmanian predators; the thylacine and the Tasmanian devil. The thylacine has the same niche as a wolf; as a predator, the thylacine hunts down wallabies and emus. On the other paw, the Tasmanian devil feeds mostly on carrion, which it has one of the strongest bites in the animal world. The thylacine went extinct in 1936, while the Tasmanian devil remains endangered.Related content
