Finished! It's actually been done for a while, but what with running all around the country and planning my wedding (as well as battling a case of food poisoning or something) I haven't had a chance to sit down and upload images.This isn't the best picture of the statue I have, but it gets the point across, I think
Just a reminder that I did not sculpt this - I just painted it. I've had it for about a year or so, and finally got some time to sit down and paint it to look like ~Travaillis and I. I think it turned out really nice - I'm very pleased with it!
Regular ol' acrylics was used for all of this, except for some brush-on shiny stuff I used for the eyes and noses.

This is so very beautiful! May I ask where you got the sculpture from? It's amazing and you painting just adds so much to it! I'm also trying to find some sculptures that I can ask my mother to buy so I can try painting.

Thank you very much! I was actually very lucky - after many, many Google searches I finally found it, but there was no way to order it online. So, I sent the image to my mother who was able to buy it at a local paint-your-own place.
Try doing searches for "ceramic paint-your-own," which is what I did, if I remember correctly. Some of the sites are companies that supply the little chain stores, but you could always try and call them to see if they'd be willing to sell a single pieces to a private person

Are you kidding? The statue base was the easiest part! XD Just did a dark grey base and dry-brushed a light grey over it. Easy as pi!
