Willowshine directed Burntfoot in placing her weight over the half-conscious Brightpelt's neck and shoulders, then moved herself to brace Brightpelt's hindquarters. She hated to admit it, but Wildpath was the most knowledgeable medicine cat in the Clans when it came to Twoleg-inflicted injuries.

Wildpath took a few slow breaths to prepare himself for what he was about to do. Once he settled, he glanced at Burntfoot's panicked and Willowshine's worried faces before he set to work removing the two dead toes on Brightpelt's forepaw, doing his best to block out his patient's screams.

I had fun doing this one, because I got to exaggerate with facial expressions and really puff Brightpelt out. Plus I'm really happy that I finally got around to drawing out such an important scene in my characters' story.

I discovered the Polygon tool in Paint, if it isn't obvious. x) It's a fun and easy way to make quick backgrounds.

Problems include proportions and some colouring here and there, but overall I'm pleased with the picture.
