You know what is scary, technology is advancing so rapidly, pretty soon we will be born from artificial wombs. O.O It is a scary future that is coming, but aside from that, this is an excellent scifi pic. I like alot. ^_^

I don't find the prospects of artificial wombs to be scary myself. It may be beneficial for women who have certain health issues that might lead to miscarriages. But in the case of the women of Jakarta's Pride, they HAVE to use artificial wombs, since the population is all female.

Oh I see that makes sense for a population entirely made out of women. Yes you have a good point for the benefits of synthetic wombs. It is just I feel that the mother and child would take a bit longer to bond since the baby grew in a machine and not the mother, at least that is what I think.

From what I learned about babies and mothers bonding, it's normally through scent. But the fact that a baby spends those 9 months inside of the mother is also a factor that contributes to the bond as well, to some extent. But a baby grows close to his/her mother through her scent as well as the scent and taste of her milk, if she chooses to breastfeed.

Oh your right, I forgot that scent is a major factor of the mother/child bonding. I wounder why a baby's and mother's bond grows stronger, when the baby is suckling? I know one thing watching a fox nurse her young is so adorable.^_^

It's not quite ready yet. We're getting things together little by little, and then we're going to release the comic. Our DA page is showcasing our comic art, for the time being.

Never fear!! We should have some preview material coming soon though. The plan is to have the first major comic finished in time for Mechacon on 23 August where we have our artists alley table booked already
