Description
At long last, it begins!It is a time of great uncertainty and fear for mankind. The Second Imperium, a cruel mockery of a fallen civilization has risen, and is growing, placing world after world beneath its iron fist.
Still, some manage to live carefree amongst the fear. Xerx Paraska and his dysfunctional family of misfits are by day, fighters in the Gestalt Tournaments. By night, they live as freelance pirates, earning their daily bread from the roar of the crowds, and the danger of the underworld.
But Xerx is an heir to a treasure more valuable than a thousand planets: a secret that cannot be long hid from the eyes of those both very powerful and very deadly. A power from a lost age, both blessing and burden.

Thanks for the link. It's okay, but not quite as good as the stuff on his Blackstar album. Still, I am liking his music. You made a new fan out of me. And yes, Unshakeable, IMHO, makes a perfect theme for it.

Okay, I saw the AMV. Very nice! I thought it fit the theme pretty well. I did an AMV once, if you didn't know. It was the very first video I posted to YouTube, and it won best uncategorized AMV at Mechacon back in 2008. You can find it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q15gT4… .
I've been meaning to do other AMVs, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it. I want to do a Tron-themed one (I am a HUGE Tron fan) involving scenes from Tron, Tron: Legacy, and Tron: Uprising, to "If I Survive" by Hybrid, and an Outlaw Star themed one to "Ready to Roll" by Jet Black Stare. But until I get off my lazy ass, enjoy the first AMV.

Dude nicely done, that was an awesome vid. ^_^ Oh the anime used for the Celldweller song is Blame! The anime is like five minutes each ugh, wish it was longer; the manga is amazing I thin you would like it, if you like dark, disturbing, cyberpunk. There is a website www.mangahere.com where you can read it. Oh I am also a Tron fan, loved the cameo from DaftPunk. It sucks that alot of people didn't like it, They don't know cool if it was in front of them XD. It is like with 47 Ronin, everyone said it sucked, yet for me I thought it was a really good action movie, not as good as Pacific Rim, but good. I know Celldweller kicks ass, but i would like to ask, did you like the song Witchcraft by Pendulum?

That's good, Pendulum for me is a good band to go to when one gets tired of Celldweller, but that is impossible for me, I never get tired of Celldweller. Celldweller takes the cake for me when it comes to music ^_^. Oh this is just me but do you think the song Birthright would be a perfect theme for Tyger whenever he is in the arena?

I don't know if "Birthright" would be a good Gestalt fight song for Tyger, since his Gestalt isn't a birthright, nor is his history someone who is "born" to pilot. However, we do have a story idea for how he gains his father's ship, the El Tigre, after a vision quest on The Knives of Blair.

Now you have me interested in the story idea for him, Forgive my ignorance but what is The Knives of Blair, it kinda reminds me of The River Iss from the John Carter series. Oh just checked out the new page for the comic, I am now more hooked to WSS I am proud to say ^_^.

Oh whoops X), I actually did some digging around on organic mechs and remembered a manga that I read a while ago has them. I think an organic mech would be an interesting thing to pilot, along with some advantages like regeneration. I found a cool pic of the enemy mech from Knights of Sidona (the manga), it is a horrific version of the human mechs. It is actually the outer body of the alien creature while the true body is the pilot, this mech is known as Hawk Moth adala-news.fr/wp-content/uploa…

As much as I like the concept I prefer to go with the mechanical replicating the organic. I like the idea of synthetic systems the mimic organic functions, such as the fibre units for the muscle and motor systems. Also it starts to get into evangelion territory and I want to keep these things as hi-tech war machines than potential divine beings.

That's fine dude, I wasn't trying to convince you to changes your mechs XD, just thought I would show you some organic. I honestly thought that organic mechs were not exactly possible, glad I was wrong X). Oh I found a fan art pic of perhaps one of my most fav characters from Knights of Sidonia (the artist did a good job with this pic). She is an organic mech with a mind of her own, however she has an extremely sweet personality and is on the human side of the war. The main character, while in his mech, holds hands with her as they fly through space. Even thought she thinks on her own she does have a pilot, who sits in her chest right next to her heart, freaky but cool.
